Dr. Joseph Onorato has been a board certified practicing dermatologist since 1993. After graduating from Adelphi University with Summa Cum Laude honors, he attended Medical School at the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Science Center at Brooklyn (Downstate Medical Center.) Dr. Onorato graduated from Downstate Medical Center with Cum Laude and Distinction in Research honors. He then completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Rochester- Strong Memorial Hospital. Dr. Onorato continued his residency in Dermatology at Downstate Medical Center where he was honored to serve as Chief Resident.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of the State of New York and a Fellow of the Nassau County Medical Society. Dr. Onorato has presented at national and international medical conferences and has published several papers in dermatology journals. Dr. Onorato enjoys practicing general dermatology, dermatologic surgery including Laser aesthetic treatments, chemical peels and Restylane injections.
As the founder of All Island Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Laser Center in 1995, and its Medical Director, Dr. Onorato is dedicated to providing his patients with the latest skin care treatments available and ensuring they receive the premier skin care services they deserve.
Dr. Cangello is a plastic surgeon, fully trained in general surgery as well as plastic and reconstructive surgery and is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
His services include a full range of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic (aesthetic) procedures including Facial Rejuvenation: Botox/Dysport and Injectable Dermal Fillers, Brow Lift, Neck Lift, Face Lift, Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty), Chin Implant, Ear Surgery (most commonly for prominent ears), facial reshaping, and Nose Surgery. Body Contouring Surgery: Breast Augmentation, Breast Lift, Breast Reduction, Liposuction, and Tummy Tuck. Reconstructive Surgery: Hand Surgery, Skin lesion removal and reconstruction (benign and malignant), Breast Reconstruction. Dr. Cangello earned a bachelor of arts from Hamilton College, one of the nation’s top-ranked and most selective undergraduate institutions. He then went on to world-renowned Johns Hopkins University, earning his Master of Science degree from the Division of Reproductive Biology and Department of Biochemistry. He gained valuable experience while spending an additional year performing scientific research at the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Medicine. During that time, he worked with, and learned from, some of the top minds in the medical research field while coauthoring several publications and abstracts. Following this invaluable training, he received his doctor of medicine from SUNY Upstate Medical University at Syracuse. Dr. Cangello completed his residency in general surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Here, he was fully trained by surgeons who have contributed to the hospital’s international reputation as a pioneer of surgical innovation and expertise. After becoming fully trained in general surgery, Dr. Cangello completed his residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There, he was able to work with premier plastic surgeons practicing in the elite Mainline suburban area of Philadelphia, and gain experience in state-of-the-art cosmetic surgical proceudures.
Elena Maydan, M.D., is a board certified dermatologist with a fellowship training in MOHS Micrographic Surgery, cutaneous oncology, and reconstructive surgery. She graduated from Columbia College of Columbia University in New York City and Cornell University Medical College. She then completed her Dermatology Residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, where she also served as Chief Resident.
She received her formal training in MOHS Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology in a MOHS-College approved fellowship at the center for Laser and Dermatologic Surgery in Paloma, N.Y. which is affiliated with Columbia University Medical Center.
Dr. Maydan currently holds an academic appointment in the Dermatology Department of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. In addition to skin cancer surgery, she is also skilled in laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from St. John’s University Summa Cum Laude, Dr. Willis graduated from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her medical internship at Winthrop University Hospital and her dermatology residency at New York Medical College.
As a board certified dermatologist Dr. Willis performs general dermatology, laser aesthetic treatments, Botox, Juvederm, and Restylane. Dr. Willis has been a member of the All Island Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Laser Center staff since 2006.
Rebecca Chusid, M.D., is a board certified dermatologist who earned her Bachelor's degree in the Biological Basis of Behavior at The University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with distinction. She graduated with honors from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biological Sciences. Dr. Chusid completed her internship in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital at Manhasset and trained in dermatology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident in Dermatology. Dr. Chusid has completed two fellowships in skin cancer detection and treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Both of these Cancer Centers were rated number one in the nation during the respective periods Dr. Chusid was training at these facilities. She has published multiple articles in several peer reviewed medical journals. Dr. Chusid is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
In addition to providing a full range of dermatologic procedures and surgeries using the most current technology available, Dr. Chusid specializes in the prevention and treatment of skin cancer.
Dina Puglissi has been practicing dermatology as a board certified Physician Assistant since 1997. From 1997 to 2001 Dina worked at St. Vincent's Hospital; in their Emergency level one trauma center. Dina joined All Island Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Laser Center in 2001. Dina earned a Bachelor’s degree from St. John's University and completed the Physician Assistant Program at Bayley Seton Hospital in 1997.
She is a member of various organizations such as the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and New York State Dermatology Physician Assistants. Dina performs general dermatology as well as cosmetic dermatology, which includes laser hair removal and Botox.
Nicole joined All Island Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Laser Center as a board certified Physician Assistant in 2003. She performs general dermatology and cosmetic dermatology including Dysport, Juvederm, Perlane, Restylane, and Botox. She also performs laser hair removal, sclerotherapy, and Xtrac laser treatments. Nicole earned her Bachelor’s
Degree from the Physician Assistant Program at Kings College, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies from Nebraska University.
Nicole is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistant Association. She also is adjunct faculty of Pace University, teaching dermatology for the Physician Assistant Program.
Kelly earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Nursing from Columbia University after having received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from St. John’s University. She began her career with All Island Dermatology Plastic Surgery and Laser Center in 1995, and has continued as a board certified Nurse Practitioner since 2005.
Kelly performs general dermatology as well as cosmetic dermatology including laser hair removal, Juvederm, Restylane, Botox, chemical peels and Xtrac Laser treatments. Kelly is a member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
Ms. Antoinette Lloyd has been practicing dermatology as a board certified Physician Assistant since 1990 and has been on staff at All Island Dermatology Plastic Surgery and Laser Center since 2008. Anne earned a Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook and a RN associates degree from SUNY at Farmingdale.
She performs general dermatology as well as Xtrac Laser treatments and Botox. Anne is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New York State Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Mrs. Drobinski completed her undergraduate studies at Northeastern University and is a graduate of St. John’s University Physician Assistant Program. Renee joined All Island Dermatology Plastic Surgery and Laser Center as a Board Certified Physician Assistant in 2010.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the New York State Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Dr. Radha Mikkilineni is a graduate of Georgetown Medical School. She completed her internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital, followed by a residency in Dermatology at Case Western Reserve-University Hospitals and her Dermatopathology fellowship at New York University. Dr. Mikkilineni is dual board certified in Dermatology as well as Dermatopathology. She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Columbia University, Department of Dermatology. She is the Laboratory Director at All Island Dermatology and has practiced both dermatopathology and clinical dermatology for over 10 years.
Dr. Beschloss is a board certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. After his service as an Aviator in the United States Navy, Dr Beschloss earned his Medical Degree at Cornell Medical College in 2005. Following training as a fight surgeon and a tour in Iraq with the Marine Corps, Dr Beschloss completed his residency in dermatology at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and National Institutes of Health in 2012. As the head of Dermatology at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, Dr Beschloss led restorative care efforts for wounded warriors using the latest in dermatologic and laser technology to treat disfiguring scars as well as providing comprehensive dermatologic care for active duty service members, their families and retired veterans.
Dr Beschloss has held an appointment as Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences and has been published in peer reviewed journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. Skilled in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Beschloss is dedicated to patient and family centered care emphasizing partnership and patient education to achieve the best possible outcomes.
